Stuck After a Crash in Santa Clara? Start Here

Safety first, then a tow to the shop you choose. Here is the sequence that keeps a bad day from getting worse.

  • Choose your tow destination
  • Call us from the roadside
  • Way+ roadside access listed

First, get safe

Turn on hazards, move out of traffic if the car will roll, and stay in the vehicle with your seatbelt on if you are in a live lane. Call 911 if anyone is hurt. On El Camino Real and Homestead Rd, traffic does not stop for you, so safety beats photos.

Who to call for a tow

You have three common options. Your insurer's roadside or towing benefit, a roadside plan you already carry, or a membership that includes roadside access, such as Way+. We are a body shop, not a tow company, but you can tell the driver to bring the car to 1499 Lincoln St.

You choose the destination

Tow companies and insurers may suggest a shop. California law lets you choose the repair shop for covered damage, and the same logic applies to where the car goes first. Tell the dispatcher where you want it delivered.

What to photograph before the tow

Take photos of the damage, the plates and the scene. Move to the car's interior after photos for odometer and warning lights. Keep towing and storage receipts. They can be part of a claim.

When we get the car

Call ahead at (408) 243-2530 so we know a vehicle is coming. We will give a free estimate when the car arrives and talk through insurance and timing.

Do not skip the structure

A car that drives badly after a crash may have steering or structural damage. Do not drive it. See our guide on who to call when a car is stuck after an accident.
